Someone missed something, when the predator made the weapons for the human near the end of the movie, that tail was some kind of spear I believe. But the slip-up is here.... when she puts the alien skull on her arm, one would assume there is blood on the inside of a skull. Aliens blood is acidic and would melt her arm right off or burn her severely. Anyone agree?
In the second Alien film - 'Aliens' for those who don't know movies - Bishop says that the acidic blood oxidises after the alien dies and is neutralised. They used the head (or skull, can't remember which!) of a dead alien. So it should be completely safe.

Well if they acid blood is neutralized after they die⦠why when The Predator breaks off the aliens finger, its still acid blood?

The blood has to be dead and touch the air for a subtantial amount of time.

Yeah true, but depending on the pH of the acid, it could oxidize immediately, or three days later.
Before anyone brings this up, when the poor bastard gets blasted, the blood poured out before it died, so that's why it still burned through the floor.
