Bruce is hit by a car late in the movie, suffering many injuries, especially a major one to his leg. At the very end Bruce has given blood. However, after sustaining such brutal injuries, he would not have been allowed to donate blood until after the wounds would have healed.

You also have to remeber that this was probably a month later so he might have been healed enough to donate blood. another thing is that he said he was going to donate blood but it never shows if he did or not.

My whole family is in the medical field, and you cannot donate with those type of injuries that he was still shown to be nursing.
