Raiders of the Lost Ark - Bicycle Powered Airplane
As Indy fights the big German guy under the Flying wing they get close to the landing gear and you can see a large bicycle chain thats turning the landing gear to move the airplane "airplanes have unpowered landing gear"
In reality, you are probably correct. You are seeing the chain used to make the plane move for the scene. The airplane in the scene wasn't even a real historical plane. It is sort of a conglomeration of various German designs from the WW2 era. The Germans had many experimental aircraft in those days and it is not hard to imagine one with powered landing gear.
