Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The - Jazz in Philly?
In the opening credits, where it shows Will playing basketball in Philadelphia, one of the people playing with him is Jazz. But Jazz and Will didn't know each other before Will moved to Bel-Air.

I disagree. I am pretty sure that when Jazz first came on the show Will introduced him as his friend from Philly.

erm you obviously don't watch the fresh prince very often do you? Will and Jazz are supposed to have known each ther since childhood (in real life they actually have)and also do you really think street trash like Jazz would live and actually come from an up market, posh place like Bel-Air?

I thought Will and Jazz knew eachother in Philly too, but they didn't and this slip-up is valid. The first time we meet Jazz (episond 1.2, "Bang the Drum Ashley), Will has hired him as Ashley's music instructor. Will said he met him in town and heard him playing; I think he even pulls out Jazz's business card. He obviously just met Jazz in town, and they didn't live in Philly together.

okay weel there is also the episode where geffory goes out with the british nanny and will and jazz are arguing saying in philly they will fight for what they want and jazz says well in L.A we keep our women (something like that) so jazz had to be in california

There's no use arguing over this. The producers made a mistake. At the beginning of the series, Will says that he just met Jazz. But it is quite evident, in subsequent seasons, that Will and Jazz are friends from back in Philly. The producers and writers screwed up.

this is not a slip up!!! they did know each other, when Will first comes to Bel air Jazz comes over and Will introduces him and says he is from Phillie! :)
