In the episode "Jack's Uncle" Jack's Uncle visits the roommates. When he first greets Jack he says "Ah, my favorite nephew!" or something of that matter and Jack replies with "But I'm your only nephew." His uncle says, "Yes, but that never stopped you from being my favorite!" When we know that Jack has a brother so he can't be his only nephew.
