Wild Wild West (Will Smith's Video) - Who Fixed the Lights?
In the video, you see that the huge lamp falls and breaks. But after Will goes through the mini-movie scene and they start singing again, if you look up you can see that the lamp is fixed and on the roof.
This is a common problem in video clips. There is usually a time lapse in them. You see this all the time. For example, you see a singer sing in a nice dress, then he/she changes and sings somewhere else in the world, then after a minute or so the camera switches back to when they sing in the first instance, back to where they started from, with the first dress. Why does this happen? The editor edits the scenes and goes back and forth in a song to maintain the same level of interest. Fortunately this doesn't happen in movies(although it seems to slip some directors and editors, thus the creation of this site) because nearly all films run in a single time span, whereas this is not important in video clips.
