When Stanley and Zero come back to camp after running away, they try to look for the treasure. In a couple of the shots, you can see dirt covered stairs behind them leading into the hole. The stairs were for the actors to get into the hole without hurting themselves. But I guess they forgot that the stairs were there when they shot the scene. If you're looking for it, it's pretty obvious.
