My Date With The President's Daughter - Skyscrapers in Washington, DC
Simply watch the closing scene of the two driving in a car in Washington, DC. You'll notice that there are 25-50 story Office buildings surrounding the road and that there is no traffic. If you Have ever been to DC, you know that the highest buildings are about 15 stories high, and that the city is plagued with heavy traffic.
I've been to Washington, and agree with you on the skyscrapers, but given the security helicopters, patrol cars, etc., could it have been possible that they had traffic blocked off at that intersection?
I've been to Washington D.C., and I remember seeing some skyscrapers! It's a big city, ya know! Maybe you just weren't at the right place to see them. Also, about the traffic, the Presidents agents and cops were right behind them. I think traffic would of been outta the way!!
It is true that streets might be blocked, but the scene shows only one car, which is very unrealistic, as is the rest of the movie. As for the skyscrapers, to whoever said that there were some, I'm sorry, but you're absolutely incorrect. I have lived in DC for 15 years, and everyone knows very well that there is an unwritten rule limiting buildings to 20 to 25 stories at very most. no one has ever built higet then about half the height of the Washington monument, and when they tried to build a radio tower like that, it was stopped, sorry.
