In Chapter 4 Nikita has been escorted into a court room to have the verdict read. Soon after this reading she struggles with the police and is dragged from the dock. As she is being pulled by the police down a hallway (11:24) she rolls over onto her front and side showing her back to the camera and you can see that a pad has either been tied or taped to her, probably to prevent the rather skinny Anne Parillaud from scrapes and bruises.
