After Cheech and Chong get the van made out of weed, the back end of the van starts to smoke,for whatever reasons. The location of the smoke originates from under the van, but when they are driving down the street the smoke is only coming out of tail pipe. After the cop stops them it jumped back to underneath the the tailpipe again! I swear to god I will cry next time that happens.
