At the beginning of the movie, immediately after the pilot ejects from the plane (if it's an F-86 Saber and not an FJ Fury, that's another slip-up for another day...), the control stick moves back and to the right. This would cause the plane to climb to the right. Unfortunately for realism, the plane banks LEFT and climbs. No wonder the plane crashed. They put the controls on backwards!
