In the movie Basic, John T. and Sam L. Jackson, in the opening scene where Sam Jackson is yelling at the Ranger Recruits, he is wearing SPECIALIST E4 rank, and they are calling him Sergeant. Later in the movie he is wearing Sergeant First Class E7 rank. Any military adviser to the film should have caught that. Also, during the scenes with John T. and leading actress, while driving the HUMVEE (army jeep) she is driving and sliding her hands across the wheel, but not turning it! The outside scenes seem to be moving as well, but the steering wheel never turns! How does that happen?
