The huge frost froze and destroyed pretty much everything it was by! So when the kids are in the library, there is frost all over everything. Since it freezes everything, wouldn't it freeze that measly fire, and freeze those kids?
I agree. Furthermore, they moved slightly away from the fire when the freeze came. actually i cant really remember if they did move away from it. anyway, if the freeze could have frozen everything else, wouldn't the fire be frozen too considering it was much colder than usual?
i agree with you. i wondered from the first time i saw it because it showed he opened the chimney up and it also showed the smoke from the fire burning.....so if this is the case........wouldn't the cold air from outside get inside and freeze it anyway? but it's a movie, they can do what they want.
First off, fire doesn't freeze (often). I haven't tried it, but putting a lighter in your kitchen freezer isn't a sure thing. My guess is, since they stoked the fire just before the freeze, that the fire was hot enough to heat the chilled air to a manageable (survivable) level.
yes i agree it would basically freeze everything in the liabary but come on someone had to survive, i dont think watching the whole world freeze would make a good movie a few sad people out there might find it amusing. its like in james bond movies where he never gets shot he just has to survive otherwiise they couldnt do anything els in the film!
