Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Beautiful Brown? Eyes
At Helms Deep when soldiers are being recruited, Legolas and Aragorn are arguing about the “soldiers” conditions. If you look at his eyes you can see that Orlando Bloom (Legolas) did not have his blue contacts in so his eyes are brown instead.
I can't remember WHERE I read it but i know that I DEFINATELY read it. It said that an Elves eye colour changes according to their mood. My guess is that the brown was for anger possibly lol.
I actually put that one in the Fellowship slip up thingy he does it many times in the movie and ud think that everytime Orlando Bloom was going on set that he'd put his contacts in. And it might be that his eyes are so dark that the blue didnt help at all but when Aragorn, Gimli, and himself are in Fangorn Forest and he tells Aragorn that something is out there his eyes are blue!
WOW! While I'm reading this slipup there is an advertiment right next it with a picture of Legolas. (It's advertising official Lords of the Rings costumes at costumecraze.com). In the picture though, Legolas's eyes are brown!
if i remeber correctly elves eyes change with there mood. for example if legolas is mad his eyes are blue. also contacts start to bother your eys after a long time when wearing them.
im back. i just saw a picture of orlando as legolas and remembered that he said that the contacts were unconfterble and he had tunnel vision for 18 months.
