Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Merry's Magic Eyebrow
Ok, Merry and Pippin are being held by the Uru-kai (s/p?) and Merry has a major wound on his eyebrow, with blood going about halfway down his face. When Merry and Pippin run into the forest, the wound is magically gone!!! But then, when Merry is about to be stepped on, it reappears, but on the other eyebrow. And then, magically, when the tree is holding Merry and Pippin, the wound is right back where it started!!!

It's Uruk-hai, in case you were wondering.

If Memory serves me right the wound is not on his forehead when he is about to get stepped on because it is actually Pippin that is almost stepped on, and not Merry.

Actually, Pippin is in the tree and Merry is about to get stepped on, Pippin in the tree yells "Merry!!" before turning to see Treebeard's eyes open. Im not sure though about the wound thing and too lazy to go watch it just now.

I watched this the other day and it is Pippin in the tree (Merry is picked up after Pip), Merry is on the ground, almost stepped on and the wound doesn't disappear. When they are being held captive, it is on one side of his face, then when they are running through Fangorn Forest it it on the opposite side and then when he is being held up by Treebeard, it is back on the original side. i listened to the commentary on the extended version and Billy Boyd (Pippin) and Dominic Monaghan (Merry) are saying that the scene with the Uruk-Hai has been flipped. Maybe that has something to do with it?

i just spotted it, when merry and pippin have a rest from running after going into Fangorn Forest, you can see that merry's wound is on the left side. that is just before the orc called Grishnask or something comes after them but just before when they start to run into fangorn you can see it is on the right side... and in chapter 35 when Treebeard is taking them to Entmoot you can see the cut is on the right side... who knows why they didn't pick it up...
