When Beatrix meets with Senior Estevan, he is reading a book, "The Carrucan's of Kurrajong by Jasmine Yuen" with a red cover, but as he puts it on the table, the cover has turned to black.
Check your eyes buddy, if you pay close attention they are both the exsact same books, except when he holds it, it is in the light, therefore reflecting the color better. When he sets it down it is in the shade, everyone knows color is shown better in light but it still gives the infaction it is red its just in the dark.
False Slip-up.
Additionally, in the close-up when Senor Esteban sets the book down (what's up with the possessive apostrophe "s" in the book title?), he lays his glasses on the book with the ear pieces out. In the next wide shot, the earpieces are folded. Later, when Esteban calls for a drink, the earpieces are out again and the glass of wine that was in the previous wides has disappeared.
