Go to the scene where Evan first sees Tommy kill Crocket by reading his journal. Tommy says, "Listen to me Evan, and you listen to me good..." Now go to the scene where Evan saves Crocket. Tommy now says, "Listen to me good Evan". Tommy should say the same phrase in both scenes.
It is possible that the phrase was said off camera, also Evan was constantly changing the past so any flashback is very likely to change from slightly, to massive
