Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - Vanishing Quill
In chapter 58, Homeward Bound, when Frodo is writing in his book, he frowns then touches his scar from Weathertop, with the quill still in his hand. Samwise enters the room, and you can still see Frodo touching his scar, but the quill has vansihed.
To OnlyLonley's comment-his quill is not in his other hand you can see it very well if you play it in Slo-Mo. Good spotting for this slipup but i think you are being very picky!
