X2 - Metal in Magneto's Plastic Prison Cell
When William Stryker enters Magneto's plastic prison, where no metal is allowed, he is wearing eye glasses containing metal. Ie., Nose guard and arms of the glasses contained metal. First, Magneto would have taken advantage of the metal and would have used it to escape. Secondly the metal detectors that you have to be screened by to enter Magneto's plastic prison would have detected the metal in the eye glasses.

This is outrageous! Obvously they drug Magneto every hour on the hour to erase his memory and make his powers disappear! Nice try though!

Perhaps they are made of a non-magnetic metal?

This isn't really a slip up because the guards could have gave him the drug that makes his powers somewhat ineffective.

Maybe, but if you want to be pedantic the filaments in the bulbs have to be metal, and the fittings are most likely to be metal too. Let's just try to watch it for the comic book film it is though.

To add to the fact that, yes, Magneto did have opportunities to escape, I have another time. Watch slowly half-way through the movie, as a guard enters the room, if you pause it at just the right time you can see on the back of the guard's belt is a metallic loop(its used to hold things, you have to see it). I'm not just assuming it's metallic, the light shines off of it. so there.

Well, who's to say they are metal? Hmmm? My friend has glasses and they are made completely of glass and some sort of plastic, NO METAL
