When Deeds inherits the 40 billion and goes to new york city, he lives in the penthouse with all the servants. When he first arrives in the penthouse, he does the echo scene with all the maids and servants, but there's no table in the middle of the room. Later in the movie, when Deeds slides down the rail of the stairs, he smashes through a round table which has magically appeared and then he finds his uncle's diary.
