This is in the episode where Patrick and Spongebob find a baby clam and decide to raise it. Patrick promises to come home at 6. He comes home much later. Spongebob comes outside to yell at him, and he is holding the clam. Then he isnt, then he is. And in the times, there is no time to put down the baby, pick it up again.
