Pirates of the Caribbean (The Curse of the Black Pearl) - Elvish Tattoo on a Pirate?

When Will and Jack are fighting in the beginning, Will says; "I practice three hours a day so that when I meet a pirate I can kill it!" Well when he says this if you look at his wrist you can see the Elvish tattoo for 9 on it.

Me writes:: The elven tatoo is on his lower arm, not wrist. In this scene Orlando Bloom is wearing long sleeves, which come down to his wrists and so the tatoo can't be seen.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?

KT writes:: i have to disagree with you becuase it is onhis wrist and if you look very closely you can see it. you may have to puase it when Orlando and Depp are both cought with there arms up and when the shot is on Bloom puase it and look at his Wrist you will see it. though it is only there for one shot. We are not told that Will is free of tattoos and the fact that *we* know it to be an "elvish" nine is of no consequence - it's just a pretty pattern.
