It happens in he episode where Chandler and Joey go to Richard's apartment and find a video tape with Monica's name on it. The boys are back at Monica and Chandler's apartment watching the video when Monica walks in. Joey goes to tackle Monica, and when she is brought down to the floor, you can see that she is wearing knee-pads under her skirt to break her fall.
