Pirates of the Caribbean (The Curse of the Black Pearl) - Waterproof Eyeliner, Aisle 1 Please!
Okay, at the very end of the movie, when Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) falls off the ledge of the fort, his blck eyeliner is in tact. Then when he is pulled onto the boat, you notice it's running, really bad. Then they cut to when he is mumbling the pirate song, and it's all fixed. I think they may have wanted to think of some water proof eyeliner. The same thing happens when he rescues Elizabeth Swan(Kiera Knightly).

Jack might have pushed the running mascara up with the rest of it. or he might have just wiped it off. i do it all the time when i dont have an eyeliner on me. No biggy.

I'm not too well versed in makeup so I can't really comment on the eyeliner, but he looks pretty damned dry for someone who just swam so far...

If you watch carefully through the whole movie, jacks eyeline disappears and reappears between cuts. In the scene on the Black Pearl with Barbossa, ("I expect you to stand there on some beach, watching me sail away on my ship, and then I'll shout the name back to you... Savvy?"), Jack isn't wearing any eyeliner, but then when they go up on deck his eyeliner's back, I believe. The only explanation I can find for that is the fact that the scene below deck was the first one Johnny Depp shot, so they might not have decided on the eyeliner yet.
