Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Clock Is Wrong
When Harry first comes into Ron's house, and he looks at the clock that has a picture of all the Weasly's, and shows where they're located, it only show's Ron, Fred, and George. Why isn't Mrs. Weasly's on the clock if she was at home too?
I noticed that too and the only thing I could think of is maybe it is because Mrs. Weasley is home almost all the time and if she is out it is when she is out with the whole family and so there is no reason for her picture to be up there with the rest. Just a thought though.
If you noticed the clock also has many other options to choose from. At the time whent the clock switched from lost to home, the rest of the family's pictures were on something else, I believe it was in the garden. So basically Mrs. Weasley was somewhere else, most likely outside.
Mrs. Weasly is in the garden. Her picture is there. If you need more, look at the names on the hands. "Molly" (Mrs. Weasly) is written on a hand that comes up from just below the frame and stops at "Garden". (This movement is just before Ron and the twins pictures move.)
If you freeze frame the film you'll notice that 3 Weasleys are in the Garden, Molly, Ginny and Percy. (With Molly and Percy moving there as Harry watches Ron, Fred and George moving from Lost to Home)
1 Weasley is at Quidditch (Unknown as the stems of the other hands hide the face. As there are 9 Weasleys then Bill or Charlie must be at Quidditch and the other one and Mr. Weasley being elsewhere.
Now, if Mrs. Weasley had Percy helping her look for the missing 3 boys then they could be in the Garden BUT it clearly shows Ginny running down the stairs looking for her jumper (Which is on the cat) so she should have been at Home on the clock.
We can't see down the doorway Mrs Weasley runs in from so we don't know it isn't a hallway leading to an outside door connecting with the garden. Percy isn't shown where he comes from so he could have come in the same way.
Ginny's hand on the clock is the real Slip-Up here.
