In the scene where Casey is running from the killer, she has a knife and a phone in her hands. The killer bursts through the window to try and get to Casey. Casey hits him and runs out to the porch, and you notice she is only holding the phone. The knife is gone, even though she didn't drop it when she hit the killer!
