This slip-up occurs soon after the french guy and Nick (Matthew Broderick) split up. Nick eventually goes to an elevator when he gets surrounded by baby lizards. When he gets in the elevator, he is supposed to be pressing the "close door" button, but he is actually pressing the "open door" button. You can plainly see the "close door" button next to his hand.
