At the end of the movie when Joe is going to jump off of the bridge, Brandi shows up. She tries to get through to Joe and the policeman stops her. Then a lady yells, "Hey it's Brandi!" If you listen, the next person, (a man) yells, "Hey it's Brittney!" (The actress's real name) David Spade mentions it on the DVD commentary.
This isn't a slip up. It's more like an easter egg. I think people would be smart enough to realize if their line was the character from the movie's name or the character's REAL name.
