Face Off - He's Slippin'!
Watch the scene where Nicolas Cage is escaping from the prison. He's standing on a scaffold and his fellow inmate, the big guy, is shot and goes over the side. Nicolas Cage grabs the barrel of the assault rifle he's managed to get ahold of (do they carry assault rifles in prisons?) and keeps him from falling, despite the fact that he weighs about 150lb.s and the guy falling weighs about 250lbs. The slip-up occurs during those tense moments that follow when the barrel begins to slip out of Nick's hand. We see a close up of the barrel and see Nick's hand already slid all the way to the end of the barrel so that the big dude is about to drop to his death. The next shot is a wider scene of the whole ordeal and we see that Nick's hand is now all the way back down the barrel nearer to the stock. Next shot, close up, barrel slips out, big dude falls, big dude dies, bad, bad movie continues...

I also thought it was a little strange that they expected you to belive that John Travolta, who's quite stocky, and Nicholas Cage, who's quite angular, could actually switch faces and pass for each other. Their bodies are nowhere near the same build. Gee, have you lost weight? And how about your friend over there? Has he been bench-pressing?

In the movie, during the scene where they are talking to Archer about becoming Castor Troy, they explain the whole process and mention that they will take excess fat off his body etc. in order to make him look just like Castor. Granted, there is no medical technology that can do this now, but they do make an effort to explain it!

If you really wanted to get down to it.....How is it that with all of the firing that that weapon was doing the barrel is not hot? I mean, when I was in the Marines, I burned my hand on my M16 when I grabbed the barrel on accident.
