Go to the end of the movie when they announce that Alexia is the queen, but if you remember earlier at the basketball game, they nominated both for queen and king. Though, they never announced the king.
At the highschool I went to, the homecoming king was announced at the pep ralley before homecoming and then the queen was announced at the game. Maybe it was along the same idea.
