Grissom is suspended and goes home. When he arrives home, he puts down his briefcase and walks over to his stereo.

After opening the cover he reaches to adjust the volume level.

In the close-up shot he is adjusting the volume with his left hand.

A moment later they show him in the same position but from a distance. He is still adjusting the volume but now he's using his right hand.
