On the very first episode of series one, entitled 'Sex and the City', about 10 minutes in, you see Carrie take the New York Star out of one of those newspaper stall things on the street. She turns to her column and you see a 2 second glimpse of her article. If you pause here, you can see that the last few sentences of her story about the english journalist, and then a few paragraphs later the story begins again: 'Once upon a time...'

Trivial, I know, but interesting.
