when the Blues Brothers are on the unfinished cloverleaf freeway, they are backing up when Elwood hits the brakes. The car then flips end over end. When they land, the rear of the car should be in the direction they were going before Elwood hit the brakes. Instead, the front of the car is facing in that direction!

Seriously, you need to understand the nature of the film. The fact that the whole scene is completely ridiculous is the very thing that makes it funny! I think it was supposed to be that way. The writer knew that.
