The two guards also had their helmets back on as well, which as you know, also got stolen by Lonestar and Barf...I'm sure they quickly went to re-tool before going back out to look for the two who did that to them. Perhaps they were wanted to go quickly and felt that the rest of their uniform was not necessary for their pursuit.

The guns are taken from the stunt doubles so of course Lonestar and Barf would still have them.
