When she's doin the musical glasses at the preliminary (right before the gun incident) she rubs the rim and its too high. She drinks it, and the sound goes down. But, if the water goes down, the sound gets higher on water glasses, not lower.
Actually, the less water in the glass, the lower the pitch. The more water in the glass the higher the pitch. The comment you should have made was, how does she know how much to drink? Weird how she got the perfect pitch the first time. Thats one thing I found strange.
No.. the sound actually gets LOWER when you remove water. Kinda the same concept as blowing on the top of a beer bottle.. when it's full the pitch it high.. when it's empty, it's lower. I don't know where you got "the lower the liquid the higher the pitch" from.
