Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of The Ring - Jumping Tear
Near the end when Frodo has tears running down his face. In the first shot, the tear on his right side is short and the left side tear is down to his chin. In the next shot, they are reversed
I noticed that the first time I saw the movie. There isn't even a tear streak or remains of a tear to show that it was even there. It just disappeared. A very noticeable slip up.

People have more than 2 tears come down their faces. When his left and right tears and fallen, its obvious 2 more have started. Its obvious!

I agree with Jaquine. Just because we can't see previous tear tracks doesn't mean more haven't fallen. Maybe he was standing there long enough for it them to dry.

Kind of funny, because there weren't any old tear streaks. It had to be a slipup.

Hey, maybe they inadvertantly flipped the film on the reel. This would cause the image to be precisely reversed. I haven't looked at the scene mentioned, but this seems like a liable explanation. Film reversal happens a lot in Star Wars movies, too. Watch them closely and you'll see a lot of these situations in them as well.
