In just about every scene when the dehydrator is used, they show a close up of water filling the tank in the back of it. In the wide shots, the water is absent or minimal.
If you think about it the dehydrator filling up makes sence, because they are sucking the water from the ambassadors leaving them as dust in the chairs.
