In the episode "Realty Bites" (the one when Marge becomes a Red Blazer Realty sales woman and Homer has Snakes car), watch the bit when Homer and Snake are fighting in and on the bonnet of the car. Homer's shoe flies off and lands on the accelerator pedal. They fight for a while, and Homers foot is just in a sock. Then the scene changes, and then just as the car is about to crash into the house, Homer magically has his shoe on!
