Shrek - Shrinking Bride
Near the end of the movie, the ginger bread man is on top of the wedding cake pounding the little groom into the cake (DVD time index 1.22.22).
Notice that the little bride is taller than the ginger bread man, but a few seconds later (1.22.31) when he is dancing with her, she is much shorter than he is.

It is possible that considering how the gingerbread man is standing by the miniature groom that he does "look" shorter than the bride. He is standing farther back but when he gets closer to the "screen" he is taller. Ex: A person looks smaller the farther away they are.

Perhaps while the gingerbread man was making the groom shorter, the bride was sinking slowly into the cake. I doubt this, and I think the previous answer was correct, but it's another suggestion.

Maybe the gingerbread man stuffed the bride doll into the cake and bent her over and her feet broke off and became stumps and her stumps mutated into new feet but they were shorter than before.
