Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone/Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - Where Is the Hair?
In the movie Harry Potter, before Professor Quirl showed the back of his head, he had hair on the back of his neck. When he showed the back of his head, there was no hair on the back of his neck.

This could possibly be because the hair had been fake to avoid suspicion of the professor that was hiding Voldemort.

Ahhhh... did anyone else happen to notice that both Quirrel and Voldemort can use magic??????? So even though Quirrel could not actually hide the presence of Voldemort on the back of his head, he could still had created some illusion that his head was all that it should be .... after all he was the Professor of Dark Arts

From what I could tell, he doesn't have hair, it's just the 'tassels' from his turban lying underneath the wrap. If he does at some point show hair, I would assume it disapears when Voldomort comes out of his head ala Kuato (sp?) in Total Recall coming from INSIDE the rebel leader's chest.

It's because Voldemort wasn't on him then. Remember in the room with the Mirror of Erised, he said after the mistake in the bank his master wanted to keep a better eye on him? In the pub, he had hair cause there wasn't an attached face to the back of his head. Get it?
