Bandits - Wrong Side of the Bed

When Kate first goes to Joe and Terry's house, and she is having to share a bed with Joe (they have a blanket in the middle separating the two sides). First Kate is on the left and Joe is on the right, then the camera flashes away and when the camera comes back, Kate is on the right and Joe is on the left. How did they switch sides so quickly??
