When the platoon comes across the NVA bunker in the jungle Tom Berringer's character sends Manny out to man the perimeter. When Berringer does this, notice Manny's helmet:it has a crumpled pack of Marlboro cigarettes in his helmet band.A few minutes later, when the rest of the platoon is looking through the bunker Manny is out in the jungle guarding, quite bored and smoking a cigarette. Look at his helmet and you'll notice a crumpled pack of Salem.
