After George becomes broke, his wife walks away in a fit of rage to the left of the screen. Watch the opening in the wall behind George and you'll see two shadows of crew members moving around while he talks to his daughter.
This is not a crew member; it is George's mother. They cut her dialogue out of the scene so it's not actually acknowledged that she's there. But it's not a slip-up.
