Mommie Dearest - 409 Existed Back Then?
In a couple of the shots that take place in the kitchen, if you look carefully on the counter, you can see a bottle of 409, which didn't exist in the time frame of this movie. Pretty big slip up!

I know that Formula 409 was launched in 1957. Depending on which part of the movie you are talking about, it may or may not have been possible. If Christina Crawford was over the age of eighteen in the movie, then the time frame is correct. Christina was born in 1939. You can find this info on Formula 409 at http://www.clorox.com/science/labs/formula_analysis.html. And as far as Christina's birthdate you can find that at www.joancrawfordonline.com
