When Beetlejuice steals the witch doctor's number, he puts his long slip between the witch doctor's legs and fell on the floor. In the next shot, the slip is at the doctor's side, not between his legs.
The slip, if you watch carefully, after falling to the floor is picked up by the witch doctor then he lays it beside him to get his "fairy dust" to sprinkle on Bettle Juice's head.
