In the end when Ted drives the car through the building. It shows him knock over a lot of stuff along with the tray with the poison needles the doctor was going to test on the dogs. But, in the next scene, it shows a close up of the needle tray being hit and then the needles go flying into the doctors chest. I don't think there where two trays there....I'm positive there was only one set, and it was knocked over before it's shown again.
