When Adam and Barbara are sitting in Juno's office afer Otho has gotten a hold of the Handbook, if you look in the background you can see a person that looks like Otho wearing sunglasses. What's up with that?
RLF, how is that impossible. If all the people in Juno's office are dead... then how could that not be Jon Belushi? You wrote it yourself... Jon died in 1982, and Beetlejuice came out in 1988. Seems perfectly logical to me. Cause it is Jon Belushi.
Anake thought the actor LOOKED like John Belushi. Tim Burton and the other guys wouldn't go to all that trouble just to somehow magically with a computer put John in that scene. Plus, the movie was made in '88. How would they be able to do that in the first place. They had to use "claymation" instead of computer animation for Christ's sake!
They also could have gotten an actor that looks like him! Why would they use claymation when they could have used and actor. To tell you the truth I really think that they didn't use clay.
This is really stupid. First of all, it is not Otho in this scene. So, I don't know why this was added as a slip up. Secondly, if that is supposed to be Jon Belushi, it doesn't mean that they superimposed into this scene! Just like what we meant earlier... it is someone dressed up to look like Jon. I agree with Ashley.
Tim Burton went for a cheesier look on the effects, hence the claymation. Burton himself is a huge fan of claymation because he believes it gives a more 'handmade feel' to the effects. It wasn't so much that they had to use clay, it was by choice.
After thorough investigation, the man in purgatory that resembles John Belushi is Jack Angel. He later played the Neitherworld Minister's voice. It is an inside joke because Tim Burton is a Belushi fan and wanted to cast Belushi in purgatory because he was too wicked for heaven and too great an actor to be in hell. This is from Tim Burton's imagination. This is my job, I do things like this for a living. Enjoy the movie, Folks!
