If you go to the scene when Oz sings his duet at the choir competition. Wait until after the duet, the camera goes to the crowd as you hear an applause. The crowd is not clapping or saying anything, in fact they are a bunch of cardboard cutouts.
Yeah, not that hard to notice. And, that's not even a slip-up because the producers did that on purpose, so it seems as if slipups.com has made a slipup.
This is not a slip-up, watch the directors commentary on the DVD version and he stated that the cardboard cutouts were used because of budget constraints.
Of course it is a slip-up. A good director would never make that obvious.... he could have directed the camera man in a way that it doesn't appear at all... or at least make the picture blurred....
Just because the directors acknowledge something doesn't make it any less of a mistake. They could have blurred out the crowd to make it less obvious. The mistake was letting people plainly see they were cut-outs.
