When Uncle Argyle is speaking to young William after his fathers death by the fires when Scots are playing their bagpipes, he tells William he needs to learn to use his head before his sword. You will notice that the sword is already unsheathed, but when Argyle raises it a second time it makes the sound as if it were coming out of its sheath.
