After Rambo steals the Soviet Mi-24 HIND helicopter he is attacked and one of the rocket launcher pods is blown off one side of the helicopter. Keep watching where the pod was because it magically reappears then disappears several times during the chase. Obviously these shots were not edited in the order they were filmed but the editor didn't notice.
Rambo did not steal a soviet HIND. He stole an American UH1-C with siviet markings and was being chased by the HIND. And to top that off, the chopper is equiped with an American made M-60 (chopped) machine gun, and an American .30 cal. mini gun! Also, when he fired that M-72 LAW in the helicopter, it would have "disappeared" the whole back half of the aircraft along with all his passengers and he himself to boot.
